Education & Training
I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) degree at Azusa
Pacific University. I earned my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Azusa
Pacific University in May 2024 and my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from
California State University, Northridge, in 2019. My dissertation focuses on positive
parenting techniques and empathy development in children. I am passionate about
working with children and families, incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored
to meet each individual’s unique needs.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Gottman Level One
Marriage Counseling.
As a mother of two children, I bring not only clinical training but also personal insight
into the emotional and developmental needs of children. This lived experience deepens
my empathy and understanding of the challenges children and families face, allowing
me to connect with clients in a grounded and compassionate way.
